02 · BE KIND
A small kind act
Ravi is drawing a big blue bird. His friend has no pencil.
Ravi wants to finish first. He feels his hand hold the pencil tightly. Then he sees his friend waiting.
“You can use it,” he says. “I can wait.”
His friend smiles. Ravi smiles too.
Being kind does not always need a big gift. It may be sharing a pencil, making room, or listening when someone speaks.
Today, look for one small way to help. A quiet kind act matters too.
A little more to think about
Notice the moment between wanting something for yourself and choosing what to do. Kindness can start there. It need not be a grand act, and it need not depend on being thanked.
